Milton Chamber of Commerce
Since 1888, the Milton Chamber of Commerce has been a key participant in shaping the Milton community. As a not-for-profit business association, the Milton Chamber has focused its attention on “Providing leadership in promoting the well-being of the business community in Milton.”
With Chamber membership exceeding 780 businesses, their primary role is advocacy, fostering a business-friendly environment and allowing the free enterprise system to flourish. Their Business After Hours, Special Events and Breakfast Meetings provide excellent networking opportunities for members to interact, inform and develop business relationships; a characteristic of a strong business community.

Wastewise Community Resource Centre
Wastewise is a thriving charitable organization committed to increasing waste diversion rates in Halton Hills. Wastewise and its interdisciplinary membership and partners work to promote the reduction, reuse and recycling of waste generated by the community of Halton Hills. They
divert resources from disposal by supporting and developing outlets for all reusable and recyclable items. They also educate and encourage institutions, industries, business and individuals in the community to develop efficient methods of waste management. Finally, they carry out research and educational programs relating to waste management and disseminate such information to the public, industries and government in order to encourage the reduction of waste and the promotion of recycling.
